About the event
LET'S GO! This is gonna be fun.
If you already know Richard Taylor, you know how much he loves life. An author, public speaker, and leader in the community, Richard has amassed an incredible story which he is now beginning to tell through the power and beauty of his music. This launch is more than just another singer trying to break into the crazy world of music: this represents a dream come true for Richard, and an inspiration for all of us as we join with him on the journey.
The event begins for VIP ticket holders at 5:45, with a special craft cocktail shaken up by the wizards of Kelnero, which may be referred to "Kind of a Big Deal." Richard will be hold a Q&A session to answer questions and share details of how he made the leap into the music world and finally achieved a life-long dream of becoming a recording artist. Members will also receive a copy of Richard's 5-song album, a copy of his latest book, and a $20 gift card to Santa Fe in Edmonds. (It is rumored you can find Richard there in a back corner plotting his next smash hit!)
Doors for everyone then open at 6:45 to hear Edmonds' own singer-songwriter extrordinaire BECLYNN, who will be opening the show with a short set, sharing her amazing voice and original music that has grown an audience into more than 20 countries around the world. Kelnero will be shaking a limited special menu of craft cocktails while guests meet and mingle, taking advantage of the photo booth on the red carpet.
The night will close out with DJ CHICO, Edmonds' very own amazing hit-spinner who knows how to bump up the energy. Feel free to dance, sway, groove, and nod your head as you finish out a truly amazing evening, all at the very place that was built to bring people together in music, the Edmonds Opera House.
